Synopsis: The film portrays the life of an orphan, Ajayan, wrongly accused for the murder of Chembakammal, a Tamil woman who runs a catering unit at home. She lives alone and develops motherly affection towards Ajayan, a hotel worker who fetches idlis from her. Chembakammal is found mutilated at home and dies at the hospital. The police investigation does not provide any information on the murderer and the case is taken over by the Crime Branch Police due to public demand. And soon they get hold of the perfect catch, Ajayan.

Director Bio: Madhupal is an actor, director, and writer who work in Malayalam cinema. He started his career in films as an assistant director to eminent film makers like Bharath Gopi and Rajiv Anchal. He made his acting debut through ‘Kashmeeram’ and has acted in over a 100 films. ‘Thalappavu’ is his big-screen directorial debut which won him the Kerala State Best Debut Director award. His second film, ‘Ozhimuri’ won the Kerala State Second Best Movie Award and the lead actor Lal received the Special Jury mention at the 60th National Awards. ‘Oru Kuprasidha Payyan’ is his third feature film.
