Synopsis: The movie speaks about the uplifting impact of a veteran teacher, Radha, in a village through her ardent efforts to rescue an ancient tribal school threatened with closure by local authorities and, of how she influences the life of the students and villagers thus exalting the community into the benefits of education.

Director Bio: Joshy Mathew's last feature ‘Black Forest’ won the National Award for Best Environment Film in 2012, State Award for the Best Children’s Film and also Kerala Film Critics Award for Best Environmental Film. It was screened at many international festivals including Moscow Film Festival, Kolkata International Film Festival, International Film Festival Kerala and Hyderabad Children’s Film Festival of India. His film ‘Train in the 10th Floor’ won the FIPRESCI Award in 2009. He has also directed a documentary on renowned Australian director, Paul Cox. Joshy Mathew is the Director of “Nav Yug”, A children’s theatre and movie village in Kottayam, Kerala.
