7:00pm Maski-Show (Russia/43mins/1992) Dir. George Deliev. This slapstick comedy reveals various aspects of the former Soviet society.

Three Fables For Use by Whites In Africa (Africa/17mins/1998) Dir. Claude Gnakouri. A reflection on the behaviour of some Whites in Africa, and the gap between African reality and Western culture.

Rolling (Switzerland/93mins/1997) Dir. Peter Entell. A film about the younger generation's search for self-respect, success and fulfilment in the midst of economic and social pressures.

7th Sat 7:00pm Welcome to the Human Race (South Africa/52mins/ 1997) Dir. Betty Wolpert. An extraordinary meeting between two families: Zondos and Smits. As the two families mourn together the loss of their children, a poignant and moving reconciliation takes place.
8th Sun 7:00pm Naalu Pennungal (India/105mins/2007) Dir. Adoor Gopalakrishnan, Dada Saheb Phalke Award Winner. A film about four women-each coming from a different social stratum. Screening will be followed by a discussion with the Director.

10th Tue 7:00pm The Inner Tour (Israel/Palestine/96mins/2001) Dir. Ra'anan Alexandrowicz. Some Palestinian families take a tour of Israel as it is the only way that they can enter Israel proper. Story of how a Palestinian Arab meets his Mother for the first time in years in such a tour.

Film Club Discussion
27th Fri 6:30pm FILM CLUB DISCUSSION GROUP meets to discuss Dial M for Murder (1954/88mins) Dir. Alfred Hitchcock. Underneath a typical murder mystery, the film explores male-female relationships. Film Scholar Divya Raina will introduce the film and facilitate the discussion.
